Global GRIND:
multiple stops competition
The 2026 World WCMX Series brings together elite wheelchair motocross (WCMX) riders from around the globe to showcase their talent, creativity, and passion for the sport. Hosted across multiple countries, the series highlights the athleticism and innovation that define WCMX as riders compete in several skateparks over the course of the year.
Not to be confused with the World Championships—a single-day event that crowns the official world champions and operates independently—the World WCMX Series spans multiple rounds and honors the athlete with the most consistent performance throughout the season with the World Series Winner title.
The concept is simple: at each stop, riders earn points based on their placement. At the end of the season, points are totaled, and the athlete with the highest score is crowned the overall Series Winner.
For 2026, to ensure fair competition and make participation accessible for riders with varying travel budgets, only three rounds will count toward the final ranking—each competitor’s two best results plus the grand finals, which will take place in the United States in December 2026.
