World WCMX Announces the 2026 North American Adaptive Skateboarding Championship at La Quinta X Park
The World WCMX Federation is proud to announce the inaugural 2026 North American Adaptive Skateboarding Championship, taking place December 5, 2026, at the legendary La Quinta X Park in California.
The championship will bring together elite adaptive skateboarders and WCMX athletes from across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and around the world for a premier weekend focused on competition, progression, inclusion, and community.
Hosted under official World WCMX competition standards, the event represents a major step forward for adaptive action sports in North America and aims to create one of the leading international platforms for adaptive skateboarding and wheelchair motocross competition.
Athletes will compete across multiple divisions, including:
- Adaptive Skateboarding Street
- Adaptive Skateboarding Park
- WCMX Pro Men
- WCMX Pro Women
- WCMX Amateur Divisions
- WCMX Youth Divisions
- Non-Competitive Showcase Divisions
In addition to competition, the event will feature athlete practice sessions, sponsor activations, vendor booths, media coverage, awards presentations, and community engagement activities throughout the weekend.
The World WCMX Federation is currently seeking sponsors, vendors, adaptive organizations, nonprofits, media outlets, and action sports brands interested in becoming part of this groundbreaking event.
