Let’s Get Connected: The Active Project by the Kelly Brush Foundation

If you’re looking for new ways to get involved, stay active, or find local adaptive sports programs, there’s a great new resource we want everyone in our community to know about The Active Project from the Kelly Brush Foundation.

The Active Project is a free, easy-to-use platform that helps people with disabilities connect with adaptive sports programs, events, and resources across the country. You can search by location, find opportunities near you, and even discover new sports you might want to try.

What makes it special is how it brings everyone together — athletes, families, coaches, and organizations — all in one place. Whether you’re into WCMX, adaptive skateboarding, wheelchair football, basketball, or any other adaptive sport, this site can help you find local programs, learn about grants for equipment, and connect with the people making it all happen.

For many of us, the hardest part is just knowing where to start or where to go next. The Active Project makes that part easier — helping you take the next step toward finding your crew, your sport, and your next big challenge.

We’d love to see the WCMX and adaptive skate community show up strong on the site. Add your events, share your programs, or just create a profile and explore what’s out there. The more of us who join, the more visible adaptive action sports become — and that helps everyone.

Check it out The Active Project and take a few minutes to explore. Let’s keep growing this community, sharing what we know, and helping more people discover the freedom that comes with rolling, riding, and moving.
