World WCMX Series: Woods and Truong take the win in Torgau!
After a summer break, the World Series was back in force on German ground. Taking place during the German skateboarding championships, the 4th stop of the series visited the small town of Torgau, in a skatepark the seemed to suite the WCMX riders. A great opportunity to show skaters what wheelchair riders can do.
Tomas Woods showed an amazing array of skills and even delighted the public with a world first!!!! He indeed landed a beautiful scooter handplant in each of his run. This performance, in conjunction with the rest of his execution give him a well deserved win.
Germans David Lebuser (series leader) and Marco Thieser battled for second place. The experienced Lebuser made an unusual amount of mistakes, making room for Thieser to take silver for 1 point!
The ranking has never been so tight and we cannot wait for the last 2 rounds of the series!!
In the women’s, Lorraine Truong was a little below her usual level. However, she takes the win ahead of German Pauline Bendt who showed a remarkable performance and need to be watched during the online round coming next!
